Give each trip a name, a color, and dates, then search for places to add as stops. Suggestions appear as you type. Stops keep the order you set, and the map connects them with a line in the trip's color.

Pick a stop to see what is near it: food, sights, lodging, outdoors, or transit within 5 km, and add any of them as another stop. Open a place's hours and contact to see its opening hours, website, and phone, when they are listed.

Mark each stop Planned or Visited. Every trip shows the dates it spans and, while it is coming up or under way, how far along it is. Go to your trips

Save a home base on your profile and new trips can start and end there. The trip shows “Depart from” and “Return to” around its stops, with a house pin on the map. A trip can end somewhere else, or nowhere for a one-way trip. Home is not a stop, and shared or public views leave it out.

The all-trips map shows every trip at once. Show all stops, only planned, or only visited, and uncheck a trip to hide it. Search the trip list by name, pick a year, and sort by recent update, date, or name. The timeline draws your trips on a line, or one calendar row per year, and lists them by the year they start.

On a tablet or computer you can collapse the trip list and fold the trip panel away to give the map more room.

Add photos to a trip and pin them to the stops they were taken at.

Send friend requests by email. Each trip has a visibility: Private, Friends, Unlisted, or Public.

Invite someone to a trip as an Editor, who can change it, or a Viewer, who can only look. Invitations arrive by email. You can also make a share link that expires after a number of days. Go to friends

Browse trips other travelers have made public, and each traveler's timeline of public trips. Explore public trips

Set a display name on your profile. Friends, shared trips, and public pages show it instead of your email. If you forget your password, the login page can email you a reset link.

Travel Mapa follows your device's light or dark setting. The theme button in the header flips between light and dark, and remembers your choice on that device. The map turns dark too.

Travel Mapa works in a phone browser. Use “Add to Home Screen” to open it like an app, without the browser toolbar.

Every account starts on the Free plan. There is no way to upgrade from the app yet.

A trip you are invited to doesn't count toward your trips, and its stop and photo limits follow the owner's plan.

Every account can run 200 place searches a day, counted from midnight UTC. Each round of suggestions while you type, each nearby list, and each look at a place's hours and contact counts as one. You can still add a stop by typing its coordinates.
